Lenzyme™
Your daily use of home care products, such as household disinfectants and cleaners, can kill off the helpful bacteria that break down the waste products in your septic system. To aid in the normal operation of your septic system and to enhance its capacity for waste elimination and digestion, add Lenzyme once a month to your septic system. Lenzyme only costs a few dollars a month and could help avoid costly repairs. Treating your septic system with Lenzyme takes only a moment. Each month, just tear open the sealed pre-measured envelope of Lenzyme and pour its contents down a drain or flush it down a toilet. Lenzyme:
- Is environmentally safe.
- Is non-poisonous and non-corrosive.
- Aids the normal operation of your septic system.
- Helps to eliminate odors.
- Attacks grease (which can cause blockages).
RootX®
For septic lines that have existing heavy root growth, we can apply RootX to clear your sewer lines. RootX is a patented root control formula that is guaranteed to kill pipeline roots. The RootX formula contains the aquatic herbicide Dichlobenil, foaming agents and degreasing agents. RootX foams on contact with water, filling the pipe to reach the top where 90 percent of the roots live. Degreasing agents strip away grime so the RootX herbicide can penetrate the roots. RootX kills roots on contact, and it leaves a barrier on the pipe walls to prevent re-growth. Dead roots decay over time and are carried away by the flow of the line.
RootX is non-systemic, so it only kills the root tissue it comes in contact with; it does not harm above-ground vegetation. In addition, RootX is non-caustic and non-fumigating, so it is easier for crews to handle, and it has no adverse effects on pipes or wastewater treatment plants.
